Susan Griffin and Jennifer Svendsen-Delaney announce their association for writing services.
The Arbor provides coaching for all writers struggling with the literary landscape, from creating the first draft to structuring the final copy. Svendsen-Delaney and Griffin target trouble spots, such as weak language and structure, assisting the client to develop more effective expression in both fiction and non- fiction arenas.
For corporate clients, the Arbor revamps brochures and web sites to freshen up stale narrative, improve the flow, and promote readability.
Susan studied with screenwriter Barbara Wilder and novelist Barbara Steiner. She teaches writing courses geared to finding your internal voice and learning about the landscape of writing.
Jennifer holds a master’s degree in English/creative writing from the University of Colorado, Boulder and worked as a writing consultant for the CU math department. She has worked in publishing and marketing.
Both coaches are published and/or experienced writers in a variety of formats including novels, screenplays, plays, articles, poetry and short stories. They combine different yet complementary approaches to coaching and writing and look forward to serving the local and broader communities both in person and by phone.
It is the Arbor’s intention to provide a full spectrum of services for writers, a network of professionals to guide authors in their respective projects. In addition to coaching, the Arbor has marketing, editorial and reader services available. With twenty-five years of journalism experience, Betty Parham can assist you with all your marketing requirements, from creating a synopsis to writing a press release. For clients who need professional editing services, Pam Martin holds an MFA from Naropa University’s Creative Writing Program and has the necessary editorial skills for your project. A list of readers is available through the Arbor to review a final manuscript and give pertinent feedback. All services are on a one-to-one basis and provide an in-depth focus on your project.
